A new year and a whole bunch of new stuff to look forward to!
And to start it off right is this little announcement from Nick Bradbury the creator of Feed Demon, the greatest RSS reader of them all.
He's announced that FeedDemon as well as NetNewsWire, NewsGator Inbox and NewsGator are all free. I paid for the product over a year ago because it was the best RSS reader I could find. He's constantly improved it and he intends to keep doing it after going FREE!
So go get your free software on!
Here is another blogjet post. I wanted to check to see if adding the time stamp and adding a tag would work. We Shall see here. The other stuff looked like it worked ok, except the spacing was a little off. Drupal doesn’t like initially <p> but I don’t know why. I can easily add it so it can be used.
I have installed an interesting application - BlogJet. It's a cool Windows client for my blog tool (as well as for other tools). Get your copy here: http://blogjet.com

This program should work very well since it costs like $39 bucks. I think Ecto was $19 while all other others are free. (With donations accepted.)
But here is that image again. I quickly created it in photoshop just to test the spacing. It is suppose to be aligned right and text is suppose to flow around it. But that is a style thing which Drupal will most likely just cut out, until I tell it not too. That is what is happening to all of them so far… they just don’t show up quite right until I let the styling through.
I didn’t expect it to strip the styling though since it was embedded inside of the img tag. One of those things you learn. The html is there when I look at the post itself. Perhaps I should just make it so all posts default to using any html tags. That would clean up the problem.
Oh well.. Well let’s see how this works. The image is already on the server so it may have a problem with that.
So here is another blogging software test to inject posts into the blog. Ecto seemed to work the best so far. Grant it, I haven't tried any of them with images.

Has a speller but it doesn't catch typing mistakes as you go... only after you tell it to check spelling. Not the worst, but...
Not a wysiwyg editor either. Must hit preview to see what it will look like, so you have to know html better.... which isn't all that bad.
